My only friends assisted me. Sully "Rotgut" McLane and Morgan "Pimble" Garrison. Rotgut and Pimble told me they would handle things last I saw them. They would handle the details. But something else was guiding my hand. An idol buried within the earth, it called out to me, deep within the recesses of my mind. I clutched every moment after I found it. All those around me must have heard it call out too, for they gazed upon me with malice. I could see the hate in their eyes. They were jealous that I had been chosen!
