They forced my hand. Roose, the leaders of the Covenant, all of them. They made me resort to this in vengeance for my son Bremen, and for all those self-righteous fools who failed him. He sought to help those in need by uncovering the truth, and so he was cast out. His reward for a good heard and a virtuous soul? Shame, isolation, and finally despair. I have heard their judgment, but I will not go quietly. I have chosen a different path. One that will demonstrate, especially to Roose, that there are consequences for such transgressions.
