Brimstone Sulfur Experiments

I have tried applying refined sulfur from the pools to the following materials: Mercury: produces tremendous heat and a small quantity of black cinnabar Iron: consumes iron without any application of heat Gold: no effect Platinum: no effect Liquid Azoth: need a safer way to attempt this. My eyebrows still haven’t grown back.
