Our Salvation is at Hand!

For the moment, we are safe! For how long, I can only speculate. But the circumstances are far beyond my hopes. Scores of adventurers have flooded into First Light to confront the great evil that has infected our land. Those of us that remain have even returned to our homes, trusting to the great host of new warriors that have entered this domain can keep the wilds at bay. So far, we have lost no more of our citizens. Still, whatever dark power twisted this place is not finished, and against anything with such arcane power, victory cannot be assured. I have advised our citizens to pack all their essentials, to stay ready in case of another retreat. If we must flee this place once more, we must have what we need to make a fresh start in a new place. For now, though, I shall try to have hope, and to spread confidence among the weary citizens of First Light. -Watcher Nora Linch
