I've done 3 tests for about 1 hour each with 24+ hours inbetween each try:
1: Solo with full luck (Armor, Bags, 1 Weapon, 3 Major Luck Trophies, Turkey Dinner) + 1 Major Mining Trophy and Max Mining Luck Food.
I got 11 glyphs total, 3 from mining and 8 from mob drop/boxes.
2: Same setup as in the first try but with 3 major mining trophies instead of 1.
I got 13 glyphs in total, 5 from mining and 8 from mob drop/boxes. I got 2 glyphs from mining one automaton.
3. 45 minute run: I ran together with a friend who was wearing full mining luck gear(armor+amulet), 3 major trophies, 600 gs pickaxe with luck and Max Mining luck food and gathering luck music buff. (also gathering yield, max prof booster+pickaxe with yield)
I got 6 glyphs from drops and boxes and she got 9 from mining+3 from drops/boxes and on top of that she got 3 glyphs at once from mining one automaton.
Seems like higher mining luck=more glyphs, on my server prices are around 800-900g each so it's definetley worth trying it out :)

7 in 10 min then nothing for the rest of the hour I was there... 3000+ luck and major mining trophies but every drop was from a bag.
