curious to know how far you can stack bleeds. currently running a Greatsword/venom spear build and that alone does 5 bleed stacks from greatsword and 1 poison stack with venom artifact passive. replace venom with butcher and i wonder if that increases it.

Ice pylon cleansing tomb, shirking dot cleanse, high slash abs counters bleed build pettry hard

I'm thinking this with a shield that has refreshing move and shield defense would be nice. Combine it with a spear or rapier for a nasty bleed build and rely on the bleeds to help you fighting multiple people while you hold the shield up and your group whales on the enemy. No clue if that will work, but could lead to some kinda "death by a thousand cuts" deal. Who knows?

is it even good to be honest? 33% longer bleed duration is similar to ring perk. Also, these sword perks are kinda bad. No refreshing, to attunement. Sword has low base damage so these bleeds do not make any sense comparing to for example spear bleeds. In my opinion way better is Odo.

Got it last night after 49 runs

I finally got it at 56th try...yay^^

Nothing after 4 tries, i switched to a sword for the final boss fight in an m1 and it dropped right away. Same method worked for scorpion sting and other artifacts.

Richard87 u can add refreshing move to shield so that works

Man i got Feather, Rapier, and Odo first kill, and now RNGesus has forsaken me. Musket and this hate me =[

I prefer refreshing move for tanking so this more for dps not for tanking imo

@jil4w - check your Transmog vendor. See if you have the Butcher unlocked there. If so - you're bugged. If not - keep trying. I got it after about 19 runs this week.

I am at 22 runs on M1 for this item. Pretty sure it dropped first run but the bag never spawned. So here I am. New World is very close to losing another player.

@Qfa you can socket a gem if you add a Gem Setting Pins in the Gypsum Kiln. This would count as the weapon's 5th perk, so you would get no additional perks, but it would allow you to add a tank gem.

Can't socket a gem in it, no gems socket folks. It's not a tank's sword clearly. Good Dps sword tho.

Got this on my second Shipyard Expo M1 run. Was shocked. I'm a smaller tank/dps build. 200 CON the rest in STR. I'm curious what gem I should put on it for PVP. What jewelry to run with it too. I currently have the Michael Artifact shield to pair with the sword.

@crank05 the damage from 1 perk isn't going to make up for 300% threat. Hated isn't really an option either because it's just a worse version of the Carnelian.

@Fayaz yeah I think i'm pretty much settled on the gem slot. It's really the only option, especially since I don't want to use the Stopwatch as part of my final build.

Refreshing move or Lifesteal would have been nice perks to add to it, but you can't.

That leaves hated, and realistically, the Gem Setting Pins to add a socket.

Go with the socket and carnelian. Even with good threat gen, despised, hated shield, stopwatch (meh), you'll lose aggro to big dps unless they're running beloved.
